Molding A Legacy Of
Steel
four years and counting - subsistence in uncertain
times
Two metal shards are applied heat. As this heat is applied, they
begin to rupture, forming new chemical bonds. These new bonds take on characteristic distanciation
from their predecessors. They are stronger, more durable, seemingly incapable of decay. In time
these bonds solidify, growing more powerful with each dawn, and eventually a marriage is
formed. One of substancial fortitude, and great respect. It is command of this respect that drives
us forward into a new day, and, let it be known that, in time, these bonds we have forged will
lift us up to triumph over the trivial veil of hippocracy, that blankets the weary like a dark
miasma. For with our determined glimmer, we will, with our last dying breath, raise up these two
molten shards as one, plunging them deeply and fiercely into the heart of the incredulous
haze. |
Into The Eye Of The
Storm
dissection of neo draconian policy in rural
america It is of paramount importance that a nation periodically reveal the nature of
itself. As it happens, we were once a nation of carpenters and painters. A nation of builders and
artisans. A nation of welders and mechanics. A nation of pilgrims. A nation of workers who were only
limited by their own resolve. But, alas how we have fallen from these lofty ideals. Now the Painter
must pay his graft or fear the financial obligation of a tyranical state. A hundred dollars to
paint this room? No? Certainly not after fines are imposed. The price is no longer set by the painter,
but, by the avaricious bureaucrat, arbitrarily deciding the worth of the painter at moment's whim.
Alas, how we have fallen indeed.
